Auto-insurance focused Roadzen’s India arm raises Rs.40-Cr at Rs.740-Cr valuation

New York, NY (USA)- and Delhi-based insurance and mobility solutions company Roadzen 's India subsidiary has raised INR 40 crore (USD 4.5 million) in equity from family offices and institutional investors in India, at a pre-money valuation of INR 740 crore. Prime Securities acted as the exclusive advisor for this transaction.Founded in 2015 by Rohan Malhotra, Roadzen , an insurance technology company which enables auto insurance providers to build new products, sell insurance, process claims, and improve road safety.The funding proceeds will be used by the firm to boost growth and strengthen the technology for global business.

For FY24, Roadzen had reported about INR 97 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 7 Cr in Net Loss.
