Avaana Capital makes final close of $135-M climate fund
VC firm Avaana Capital has made a final close of its climate and sustainability fund at USD 135 million. It plans to invest in 20-25 companies with an average first cheque size ranging from INR 10 crore to 30 crore.Founded by Anjali Bansal, Avaana Capital provides early growth capital and scaling up support to entrepreneurs operating in the areas of climate mitigation, mobility and supply chains, and climate-resilient food systems.
