Axis Finance raises Rs.750-Cr from Kedaara Capital

Mumbai-headquartered Axis Finance , a wholly owned non-banking financial company (NBFC) subsidiary of Axis Bank, has raised INR 750 crore in primary capital from Kedaara Capital. The company intends to use the fresh capital to strengthen its capital base and support growth. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted for Axis Finance and Axis Bank on the transaction.The NBFC reported assets under finance of INR 47,692 crore as of the end of March 2026, a 22% year-on-year increase, with a portfolio including retail, wholesale, MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises), and treasury. It recorded a net profit of INR 806 crore in FY26, up 19% year-on-year, and maintained a total capital adequacy ratio of 19.65% at the end of March 2026.This capital raise is in addition to an INR 1,500 crore primary capital raise which will be conducted through a rights issue.

For FY25, Axis Finance had reported about INR 4,094 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 652 Cr in PAT.
