Ayurvedic nutrition brand Kapiva raises $10-M from OrbiMed, 3One4, Vertex Ventures
Bengaluru-based ayurvedic nutrition brand Kapiva has raised INR 83.5 crore (around USD 10 million) led by OrbiMed Asia (INR 52.2 crore). 3One4 Capital (INR 11.96 crore) and Vertex Ventures (INR 19.33 crore) also participated in the round.This funding is part of Kapiva’s Series C round, through which the company aims to raise a total of INR 250 crore. The proceeds will be used to accelerate its expansion and product development. The company has been reportedly valued at around USD 80 million, post-allotment.Founded in 2015, Kapiva offers ayurvedic products for hair fall, weight loss, digestion, and diabetes.
Between Nov 2018 and Oct 2022, Kapiva Ayurveda had raised over USD 50.64 M from 3One4 Capital, OrbiMed, Vertex, Fireside Ventures, Jetty Ventures and Trifecta Capital.
