B2B ESDM startup TIEA Connectors raises Rs.22-Cr from 8X Ventures, IvyCap Ventures, angels
Bengaluru-based B2B (business-to-business) ESDM (Electronic System Design and Manufacturing) startup, TIEA Connectors Pvt Ltd has raised INR 22 crore in its latest funding round led by Jamwant Ventures and Valour Capital, with participation from 8X Ventures and IvyCap Ventures.The proceeds will be deployed to expand manufacturing capacity and strengthen R&D capabilities.Founded in 2020 by Ajith Sasidharan (CEO) and Punit Shridhar Joshi (CTO), TIEA Connectors specialises in the design, development, and manufacturing of customised low-voltage miniature electronic connectors and contact solutions. It was incubated at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and has multiple patents.
In Nov 2021 had raised USD 267,000 in its angel round from ah! Ventures Angel Platform, TiE members and other angel investors.
