B2B grocery marketplace Jumbotail raises Rs.151-Cr from Artal Asia, others
Bengaluru-based Jumbotail , a B2B (business-to-business) marketplace and retail platform for food and grocery products, has raised INR 151 crore (around USD 18.2 million) in its Series C3 round led by Artal Asia. Heron Rock, Sabre Investment, Arkam Ventures, Jarvis Reserve Fund, Reaction Global, VII Ventures and others also participated in the round.Jumbotail will use the money to scale its offerings of go-to-market (GTM) products and services for new brands, and expand the network of kirana stores it serves. The company also plans to hire teams for deep sourcing, category management, product management, AI/ML and marketing.Jumbotail has raised a total of USD 143 million in equity from Artal, Heron Rock, Nexus Ventures, Kalaari Capital, Jumbo Fund and Arkam Ventures. The company has also attracted around USD 14 million in venture debt from Alteria Capital and Innoven Capital. It claims to serve over 2,50,000 mom & pop stores (Kiranas) across 50+ cities in India.
