Bain Capital divests 1.9% stake in Embassy Office Parks REIT for Rs.691-Cr
US-based private investment firm Bain Capital, through its affiliate APAC Company XXIII, has divested a 1.87 % stake (1.78 crore units) in Bengaluru-based Embassy Office Parks REIT for INR 691 crore through an open market transaction.The units were disposed of at an average price of INR 388 apiece, taking the deal value to INR 691.41 crore.Embassy REIT owns and operates a 51.1 million sq ft portfolio of 14 office parks in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR and Chennai. Its portfolio comprises 40.3 million sq ft of completed operating area.
In Mar-23, Bain Capital had acquired a 4.49% stake in publicly listed Embassy Office Parks REIT for INR 1,250 crore.
