Bain Capital sells Axis Bank shares worth Rs.3,400-Cr, registers 1.66x return

Bain Capital has sold an about 1.24% stake in publicly-listed Axis Bank at an average price of INR 888 per share through block deals. The sale aggregated to INR 3,400 crore. Post the sale, the investor would hold about 3% stake.
