Bain Capital sells remaining 1% stake worth Rs.352-Cr in Emcure Pharma

Bain Capital has made a complete exit from Pune-based drugmaker Emcure Pharmaceuticals . It sold its residual 1% stake through a block deal on the NSE for INR 352 crore. The shares were sold at an average price of INR 1,817 apiece.Founded in 1981, Emcure manufactures and markets a wide array of healthcare products worldwide. It specializes in over 350 brands and complex biologics, with a focus on gynaecology, cardiology, oncology, and blood-related disorders.

Bain Capital first invested in Emcure in April-2014. The company went public in Jul-2024, as part of which, Bain had made a part exit. It subsequently sold shares in Jul-25, Nov-25 and Apr-26.
