Bain Capital sells share worth Rs.612-Cr in Emcure Pharma
Private Equity firm Bain Capital has sold a 1.89% equity stake (36 lakh shares) in Pune-based Emcure Pharmaceuticals through open market operations (on June 9) for INR 612 crore.Emcure Pharma manufactures and markets a broad range of pharmaceutical products. Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund plans to manage this investment as part of its equity portfolio.
Bain Capital first invested in Emcure in April-2014. The company went public in Jul-2024, as part of which, Bain had made a part exit. It subsequently sold shares in Jul-25, Nov-25 and Apr-26.
