Bamboo-based children’s wear brand Kidbea raises Rs.30-Cr led by Enrission India Capital

Noida-based omnichannel kidswear brand Kidbea has raised INR 30 crore (USD 3.2 million) in a Series A funding round led by Enrission India Capital. The round also saw participation from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), LetsVenture, FE Securities, and existing investors Venture Catalysts, Nazara Technologies’ Nitish Mittersain, and Innov8 founder Ritesh Malik. Mamaearth’s Ghazal Alagh and Unacademy co-founder Roman Saini, along with several family offices.Founded in 2021 by Swapnil Srivastav, Mohammad Hussain, Aman Kumar Mahto, and Ankita Rani, Kidbea offers bamboo-based clothing for children, including rompers, onesies, nightwear, newborn essentials, accessories, soft toys, feeding bottles, and nibblers. The firm sells products through its website, e-commerce platforms and offline stores in Hyderabad, Pune, Indore, and Bengaluru.The new funds will be used to expand its retail footprint to over 100 flagship stores and enter more than 200 multi-brand outlets across India over the next 12-24 months. A portion of the funding will also be allocated to launching new product categories.

Between May 2022 and May 2024, Kidbea raised funding from Agility Ventures, BestVantage Investments , Sandeep Aggarwal, Venture Catalysts Angels, Divij Bajaj, Nandi Mehta, Nitish Mittersain, Ritesh Malik and others.
