Baring Asia sells addl Coforge shares worth Rs.1,588-Cr, registers 3x return

Baring Asia has sold a 5.53% stake in publicly listed IT Services firm Coforge Ltd. (formerly NIIT Technologies Ltd.) on Aug 4, 2021. The sale, through a bulk deal on the NSE, aggregated to INR 1,587.45 crore. Post the latest sale, Baring Asia holds a 50.20% stake in Coforge.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Apr 2019, Baring Asia had invested INR 6,062.72 crore to acquire an over 70% stake in Coforge.
