Baring Asia sells CMS Info Systems shares worth Rs.99.95 Cr; registers 2.4x return

Baring Asia, via Sion Investment Holdings Pte. Ltd, has sold 3,001,100 equity shares (1.95% stake) at INR 333.05 per share of publicly-listed CMS Info Systems Ltd on Nov 16, 2022 through a bulk deal on the NSE. The sale aggregates to INR 99.95 crore. Post the sale, the investor would hold 94,072,975 equity shares (61.06% stake) in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In May 2015, Baring Asia invested INR 1,806.12 crore for 100% stake. The company went public in Dec 2021 at INR 216 per share and Baring Asia made part exit as part of the IPO.
