Bastian Hospitality plans capital raise for expansion

Mumbai-based fine-dining chain Bastian Hospitality is raising fresh capital from private equity firms and strategic investors. The company intends to sell a 20-25% minority stake to support its expansion plans within India and in overseas markets.Founded in 2014 by Ranjit Bindra, Bastian Hospitality currently operates eight outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Bengaluru, Pune, and Ahmedabad, including brands such as Bastian At The Top, Bastian Beach Club, and Maison Twenty-Seven. The company, which is co-owned by Bindra and actor Shilpa Shetty, plans to utilize the new funds to diversify its business into bars, cafes, bakeries, members’ clubs, and social spaces.Bastian Hospitality aims to reach a revenue of INR 1,000 Cr by FY27. As part of its growth strategy, the firm is preparing to introduce multiple new concepts over the next 12 to 18 months, including the launch of Maison Twenty-Seven in partnership with the Adani group.
