Battery-tech, energy storage firms in talks to raise $65-M
A group of early-stage battery tech and energy transition firms are in talks with investors to collectively raise nearly $65-M. The fundraising activity indicates a potential revival in the sector, following a 70% decline in overall funding during the year to date compared to 2025.Bengaluru-based Emo Energy is in talks to raise between Rs.150-Cr and Rs.200-Cr ($16-M and $21-M) to support its fast-charging battery ecosystem for electric two-wheelers.Bengaluru-based electric tractor firm Moonrider is targeting $20-M and fellow Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer Magron Novus is raising a $1-M bridge round as part of a larger plan to secure $3-M to $4-M ahead of a commercial launch.In the energy-storage space, EarthEn Energy is raising a $3-M seed round, while Bengaluru-based Arkle Energy is in talks to raise about Rs.20-Cr ($2-M).
Between Apr 2023 and Jun 2026, EMO Energy had attracted about $14 M from Transition VC, Subhkam Ventures, Gruhas, and others.For FY25, EMO Energy had reported about Rs.14 Cr in Operating Income and about Rs.7 Cr in Net Loss.Between Jan 2024 and Dec 2025, Moonrider had attracted about $8 M from AdvantEdge Partners, Micelio Fund, Pi Ventures, Singularity AMC, Axilor Ventures, and others.For FY25, Moonrider had reported about Rs.2 Cr in Net Loss.In Mar 2025, Arkle Energy Solutions had attracted about $0.46 M from Pi Ventures, and others.For FY25, Arkle Energy Solutions had reported about Rs.0.02 Cr in Operating Income and about Rs.0.03 Cr in Net Loss.
