Battery-tech startup Meine Electric raises $750-K led by Antler, others
Chennai-based Meine Electric has raised USD 750,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Antler India, Rebalance, Venture Catalysts with participation from gradCapital, AIC-AU Incubation Foundation, and a group of angel investors.Founded in 2023 by Priyansh Mohan and Stuti Kakkar, Meine Electric develops iron-air long-duration energy storage (LDES) systems. The company focuses on batteries capable of 16-24 hours of storage to support continuous renewable energy use.The new funds will be used to transition from lab-scale prototypes to pilot-ready iron-air battery systems and to enhance research and engineering capabilities.
