Battery tech startup Oorja raises $1.5 M

Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Oorja.Energy, which helps automotive companies design better batteries, has raised USD 1.5 million in a Pre-Series-A funding round led by Micello Fund with participation from Capital A, Java Capital, Anicut Capital and Lead Angels. The company plans to use the funds to build its product and foray into Europe and North American markets.
