Beer brand Bira 91 raises $25-M more from Tiger Pacific Capital, Kirin Holdings

B9 Beverages Ltd, Bira 91's parent company is raising USD 25 million in new funding from Tiger Pacific Capital. The new investment is part of a USD 50 million round raised by the company, with participation from its existing investor, Kirin Holdings of Japan.Bira 91 will use the capital to expand its manufacturing footprint to Uttar Pradesh. The company has six manufacturing plants in the country.Founded in 2015, B9 Beverages is backed by Japanese beer maker Kirin Holdings and MUFG Bank, Sofina of Belgium, and Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India).
