Beverage retail startup Basil Health raises $1.5 M from Whiteboard Capital, others
Delhi-based Basil Health has raised USD 1.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round from Whiteboard Capital, Brigade REAP, Barbershop Fund, Deep Bajaj, Siddharth Kothari and others.Founded in 2023 by Harshita Kejriwal, Akshay Chaudhari and Karan Dwivedi, Basil Health is a beverage retail brand that operates compact kiosks and automated beverage machines. The company utilizes IoT-enabled technology for creating standardized, cafe-quality fresh beverages. Currently, it has over 70 live touchpoints across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Chandigarh.The fresh capital will be used to expand operations across cities, strengthen the supply chain, and invest in brand building and team growth. The company also plans to scale its operations to 1,000 touchpoints over the next three years, through a combination of kiosks and automated machines.
Between Sep-21 and Feb-25, Basil Health had attracted about USD 1.07 M from SiriusOne Capital, Whiteboard Capital, Others.For FY24, Basil Health had reported about INR 3.65 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 2.05Cr in Net Loss.
