BFSI-focused voice AI co. Arrowhead in talks for Series A round
Bengaluru-based Arrowhead , a voice AI company, is preparing to raise a Series A funding round to support its international expansion efforts. The company, which is already operating in Southeast Asia, intends to increase its global market penetration following the completion of this financing.Founded in 2022 by Devyani Gupta and Vengadanathan Srinivasan, Arrowhead builds conversational AI agents for the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector. Its voice agents are currently deployed for various use cases, including loan sales, collections, and customer support, for clients such as Axis Bank, RBL Bank, IndusInd Bank, Bank of Baroda, Aditya Birla Capital, and L&T Finance. The company manages in-house development of its orchestrator, speech-to-text models, small language models, and text-to-speech models, which it hosts on its own infrastructure to meet data residency requirements.This planned fundraise follows a USD 3-M seed round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with participation from CRED founder Kunal Shah, M2P Fintech cofounder Madhusudanan R, and executives from Turtlemint and Kissht. The company previously raised a pre-seed round of approximately USD 320,000.
For FY25, Arrowhead had reported about INR 0.66 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.77 Cr in Net Loss.
