Bharat Matrimony invests $500-K in spiritual-tech platform ‘Ask My Guru’
Bharat Matrimony, the flagship of Matrimony.com Group, has invested USD 500,000 in Ask My Guru (AMG) , a Bengaluru-based spiritual-tech startup. This investment follows AMG’s USD 1.2 million seed funding, led by Lumikai, M-League, and DEVC, bringing the total investment in the firm to USD 1.72 million. Ask My Guru offers vedic shastra and astrology consultations through its mobile app, connecting users with AI "Guruavataars" trained in ancient Indian knowledge systems. The company’s founding team includes Krishna Mohan Vedula and Vivek Sadamate.The new funds are earmarked to enhance AMG’s astrology capabilities, enhancing predictive precision and expanding language and regional support for India’s diverse user base. The partnership will also facilitate the integration of astrology into Bharat Matrimony’s platform, providing users with real-time compatibility assessments.
