Bio-manufacturing player Lemnisca raises funding led by Theia Ventures
Bengaluru-based Lemnisca has raised a pre-seed funding round led by Theia Ventures, with participation from PointOne Capital and Dr Satakarni Makkapati.Founded in 2025 by Pushkar Pendse and Shilpa Nargund, Lemnisca develops intelligent systems to support and scale biomanufacturing. The capital will be used to strengthen its Bengaluru lab, for AI platform development, and for early pilots aimed at scaling sustainable bioproduction.Lemnisca's technology includes an AI companion for fermentation, designed to accelerate and enhance the predictability and efficiency of bioprocess scaling for manufacturers.
