Biomedical products maker Serigen attracts Rs.10-Cr led by IAN Alpha, Colossa
Pune-based Serigen Mediproducts , a biomedical products manufacturer, has raised INR 10 crore in a funding round led by IAN Alpha Fund and Colossa Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing and new angel investors.Serigen has developed three products: Serioss, an osteoconductive bone void filler; Seriderm, an absorbent wound dressing designed to accelerate wound healing; and Serimat, a silk protein mesh used in reconstructive surgeries, including breast reconstruction and dural repair.The proceeds from the current funding will be used to complete clinical trials, obtain Indian and global regulatory approvals, accelerate sales and marketing efforts, and strengthen the team.
