Biotech startup Mynvax raises $2.6 M led by Inviga Healthcare Fund
Bengaluru-based Mynvax , a biotechnology startup specializing in engineered protein subunit vaccines, has raised INR 21.63 crore (approximately USD 2.6 million) in an extended Series A funding round led by Inviga Healthcare Fund.Mynvax will issue 5,127 Series A1 CCPS at INR 42,182 per share. Inviga Healthcare Fund contributed INR 15 crore and Legacy Assets LLP invested INR 2 crore. The remaining funds were sourced from 27 other investors.Founded in 2017 by Gautham Nadig & Raghavan Varadarajan, Mynvax has been developing novel vaccines using its proprietary protein stabilization technology. The company has gained recognition for its influenza vaccine and its thermo-tolerant, efficacious vaccines designed to protect against SARS-CoV-2 and its variants.
