BlackSoil Capital raises Rs.200-Cr in debt from Impact Fund Denmark
Alternative credit platform BlackSoil Capital has raised INR 200 crore in debt from Impact Fund Denmark.Founded in 2010, BlackSoil Capital has assets under management worth USD 250 million. It provides alternative credit and supply chain financing solutions to growing and new economy businesses for short- and long-term capital needs. Its portfolio comprises 11 unicorns and 14 publicly listed companies.The company plans to use the funding to support climate adaptation and mitigation initiatives, expand credit access for low-income communities and under-served segments, and support climate-aligned enterprises and financial institutions in Tier II and III markets, with a focus on women-led businesses.
