Blackstone sells 15% stake in IT services co. Mphasis for Rs.6,736-Cr
Private Equity firm Blackstone (via its unit Bcp Topco Ix Pte. Ltd) has sold a 15.1% stake in listed IT Services firm Mphasis via a block deal. Blackstone sold 28.5 million shares at INR 2,363.37 apiece, raising INR 6,735.6 crore.In 2016, Blackstone had acquired a 60.48% stake in Mphasis from Hewlett Packard Enterprises for INR 5,466 crore (at the time, USD 827 million). The stock price of Mphasis was then INR 430 per share.
