Blackstone sells addl Embassy Office Parks REIT shares worth Rs.2,025-Cr

PE investor Blackstone, via its affiliate entities, has sold 57 million shares at an average price of INR 355.1 per unit of publicly listed Embassy Office Parks REIT on Sep 15, 2021. Post the latest sales, which aggregate to INR 2,025 crore, Blackstone would hold 32% stake in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-RE Deal Database: Embassy Office Parks REIT was sponsored by Bengaluru-based property developer Embassy Group and Blackstone in Mar 2019. Blackstone held 55% stake in the REIT, which has properties to the tune of 33 million square feet, in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
