BlueHill Capital raises Rs.150-Cr for deeptech fund

Chennai-based venture capital firm, BlueHill Capital has raised around INR 150 crore till date for its deep tech-focused fund. It achieved its first close of about INR 80 crore in August last year from HNIs and family offices. The fund is now tapping institutional capital, including from SIDBI FoF and the Kerala government.The fund will aim to invest in 16 to 20 startups, with an average ticket size ranging from USD 750,000 to USD 2 million in the first cheque and USD 2 million to USD 4 million in follow-on rounds.
