Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma acquires stake in Agilitas Sports
Film actor and producer Anushka Sharma has acquired a minor stake in Bengaluru-based Agilitas Sports . The transaction follows an earlier investment by cricketer Virat Kohli, who remains a co-investor and business partner in the firm.Founded by former Puma India executives, Agilitas Sports focuses on sports apparel and footwear. The company also previously acquired One8, a sportswear brand owned by Virat Kohli.Anushka Sharma plans to collaborate with the company to co-develop a yoga-wear line under the One8 brand franchise.
Between Mar 2023 and Sep 2024, Agilitas Sports had attracted about $ 73 M from Convergent Finance, Nexus Venture Partners, Spring Marketing Capital and others.For FY25, Agilitas Sports had reported about INR 9 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4 Cr in Net Loss.
