Bombay Shaving Company raises Rs.136-Cr led by Sixth Sense Ventures

D2C (direct-to-consumer) grooming and personal care startup Bombay Shaving Company has raised INR 136 crore in a Series D round led by Sixth Sense Ventures, in a mix of primary and secondary investments, with participation from Shantanu Deshpande, Patni Family Office, Rahul Dravid and others.Founded in 2016, Bombay Shaving Company sells premium personal care products for men and women.The fresh funds will be used by the company to consolidate operations, expand its omnichannel presence, expand retail reach, and invest in brand-building and hiring.

Between Aug-17 and Apr-24, Bombay Shaving Company had attracted about USD 56 M from Fireside Ventures, Sixth Sense Ventures, Gulf Islamic Investments, Malabar Investments, Singularity Holdings, Alteria Capital, and others.For FY24, Bombay Shaving Company had reported about INR 226 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 62 Cr in Net Loss.
