Brewer Tilaknagar Industries to buy 10% in Samsara Gin maker for Rs.9.75 Cr
Publicly listed, Mumbai-headquartered alcoholic beverages maker, Tilaknagar Industries Ltd (TI) is to buy 10% stake in Delhi-headquartered Spaceman Spirits Lab (SSLPL) for INR 9.75 crore. The investment, in two tranches, will be through a combination of equity shares and compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS). The acquisition will be completed before June 30. SSLPL, which started in 2020 and owns Samsara gin, had an annual turnover of INR 2.7 crore in FY22. With this investment, TI now has a presence in the premium craft gin segment.
