Brigade, GIC to buy 5.5 acres in Chennai's Anna Salai from TVS for Rs.550-Cr

Brigade Enterprises, along with Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC, has agreed to buy 5.5 acres of prime property along Chennai's Anna Salai from TVS Group for over INR 550 crore. The property houses the Sundaram Honda sales and dealership business. This is Brigade's second transaction with GIC. In 2015, the two had collectively acquired 15.86 acres of land parcel from KansaiNerolac Paints in Chennai in a deal valued at INR 550 crore.
