British International Investment exits Equitas Holdings by selling shares worth Rs.95-Cr; registers

British International Investment has a 2.22% stake in publicly-listed Equitas Holdings Ltd fetching INR 95.08 crore. Assuming the investor sold its remaining 0.49% stake also at the same price per share, the investor would have made 2.23x return on its 9-year-old investment.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Dec 2013, CDC Group invested INR 100.79 crore in Equitas Holdings. It invested an additional INR 36.55 crore in Nov 2014. The company went public in Apr 2016 at INR 110 per share.
