Brookfield India REIT to distribute Rs.180-Cr dividend for September quarter
Listed real estate investment trust (REIT) Brookfield India Real Estate Trust is to distribute INR 180 crore as dividend to unitholders for the quarter ended September, taking its total distribution to INR 360 crore since its listing in February. The REIT has generated net distributable cash flow worth INR 190 crore, or INR 6.43 per unit for the quarter, totalling INR 390 crore, or INR 12.85 per unit since listing. During the quarter, the REIT collected 99% of contracted rentals, while achieving average 8% escalation on 8 lakh sq ft of leased area. It has leased 47,000 sq ft during the quarter.
