Brookfield to acquire ESR’s warehousing portfolio in $450-M deal

Global infrastructure investment firm Brookfield has acquired the industrial and logistics warehouse portfolio from Mumbai-headquartered ESR . Brookfield has committed INR 4,300 Cr (about USD 450 million) to fund both the acquisition and the future development of the assets. ESR will continue to manage the properties for the near term.The 10.5 million sq ft portfolio comprises eight Grade A parks spanning about 400 acres across six in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Chennai, and Kolkata. These assets are positioned along major industrial and freight corridors, providing proximity to key manufacturing hubs, warehousing centers, and established logistics catchments.Brookfield currently manages approximately USD 33 Billion in assets across India, covering infrastructure, energy, private equity, real estate, and credit.
