Budget 2024: Private co. investors laud tax parity on LTCG
The union budget has proposed a long-term capital gains tax (LTCG) of 12.5% for both domestic and foreign investors on the sale of all kinds of securities. Until now, the LTCG for domestic investors investing in private securities was 20%.
