Builder of apps for spiritual needs AppsForBharat raises $10-M from Elevation Capital, others
AppsForBharat, a Bangalore-headquartered company focused on building apps to fulfil the spiritual and devotional needs of users, has raised USD 10 million as part of Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital, with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital India, Beenext and Matrix Partners India. Tiger Global's Scott Schleifer, DST Global's Saurabh Gupta, Sharechat founders, and iSeed's Utsav Somani also participated in the funding round. The company will use the funding for building further products and for hiring.
