Cactus Partners targets Rs.1,600-Cr for 2nd VC fund
Early-growth venture capital firm Cactus Partners is targeting a corpus of INR 1,600 crore for its second fund and intends to deploy this capital in 13 to 15 companies.Cactus Partners invests in advanced manufacturing, enterprise technology, and consumer technology. The firm focuses on companies that have established product-market fit and are prepared for scaling their operations. It plans to issue initial checks between INR 60 crore and INR 100 crore, typically targeting companies raising USD 10 million to USD 20 million, while leading rounds with investments of USD 6 million to USD 10 million.The firm previously deployed INR 630 crore through its first fund across 13 companies, including Lohum, Indigrid Technologies, Bellatrix Aerospace, Brandworks, and Kapture CX. Looking ahead, the firm is evaluating emerging opportunities in cybersecurity and quantum technologies.
