CarDekho’s Southeast Asian arm raises $60-M from Navis Capital, Dragon Fund
Jaipur-based unicorn auto marketplace CarDekho Group’s Southeast Asian (SEA) unit has raised USD 60 million (around INR 509 crore) from Navis Capital Partners and Dragon Fund. The round has reportedly valued the company between USD 300-400 million.The new funds will be used to build its existing business in Indonesia and Philippines and to expand into new geographies. The firm will also enter new lines of business in areas of insurance and dealer inventory funding.The company claims to have made over 200,000 disbursements amounting to over USD 1 Billion in loans.
Between Nov 2013 and Oct 2021, CarDekho had raised about USD 458 M from Advent International, Axis PE, Canyon Capital Advisors, Finsight Ventures, Flucas Ventures, Franklin Templeton PE, Gaingels, Harbor Spring Capital, LeapFrog, Mirae Asset Global Investments, Orios VP, OurCrowd, Peak XV Partners, Hillhouse Capital, Ping An Global Voyager Fund, CapitalG, Trifecta Capital, Ratan Tata and Tybourne Capital.
