Cargo mgmt s'ware startup Kale Logistics raises $1.7 M
Mumbai-based logistics technology platform Kale Logistics has raised a new round of funding led by Inflexor Ventures and other existing investors at a post-money valuation of INR 600 crore (USD 75 million). Kale Logistics would issue 9,81,474 Series A3 compulsorily convertible participatory preference shares (CCPS) at INR 135 per share to raise INR 13.25 crore or USD 1.7 million. Inflexor Ventures and Kale's founders have put in INR 2.5 crore each. Rakesh Puri and Manju Puri jointly invested INR 1 crore in the company. The rest came from 16 other investors. Post deal, co-founders Vipul Jain and Narendra Kale hold 32.93% and 20.79% stake each, while Inflexor owns a 12.47% stake in the company. Kale Logistics provides software for the logistics and airports industry and provides tech-driven solutions to reduce complexities involved in the cargo logistics processing at airports, seaports and customs checkpoints.
