Carlyle group exits Indegene; sells 10.2% stake for Rs 1,447 crore

Carlyle Group has exited publicly listed Indegene by divesting its residual 10.2 per cent stake (2.44 crore shares) for INR 1,447 crore through open market transactions on the NSE.Carlyle, through its arm CA Dawn Investments, sold the shares in the price range of INR 591.02-591.84 apiece.

In Dec-24, Carlyle Group had divested a 4.3% stake in Indegene for INR 636 crore. Between Jan 2021 and Mar 2023, Indegene had raised about USD 206.5 M from Avendus PE, Brighton Park Capital and Carlyle.
