Carlyle Sells 12.8% in PNB Housing Finance for Rs.2,578-Cr

Private Equity firm Carlyle has sold a 12.8% stake in PNB Housing Finance through an open market transaction. Quality Investment Holdings, a unit of Carlyle, sold 33.2 million shares at an average price of INR 775.13 apiece, realising INR 2,578 crore.The buyers included the Monetary Authority of Singapore, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and domestic mutual funds such as Aditya Birla Sun Life, DSP, and HSBC.
