Caspian Advisors to manage Assam Govt's agri biz fund
Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society, an Assam government promoted entity, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Caspian Impact Investment Adviser Pvt Ltd. Under the partnership, Caspian will manage the Assam Agribusiness Investment Fund (AAIF) in which the Assam Government entity will be the anchor investor. Ravi Narasimham, Investment Director, Caspian, will lead the fund. AAIF will invest in small and medium enterprises in the agribusiness and allied sectors.
