CDC Group sells addl IIFL Finance shares worth Rs.442-Cr, registers 1.65x return

CDC Group has sold shares worth INR 442.26 crore in publicly listed IIFL Finance Ltd. on Sep 16, 2021. Post the latest sale, which constitutes 3.96% stake of the company, the investor would hold a 7.78% stake in IIFL Finance.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Jul 2016, CDC Group invested INR 1,000 crore in India Infoline Finance Ltd. (subsidiary of publicly listed IIFL Holdings Ltd.). On Mar 30, 2020, India Infoline Finance Ltd. was merged with IIFL Holdings Ltd. and the combined entity was named IIFL Finance Ltd.
