CDPQ in talks to buy Vodafone Plc's 21% stake in Indus Towers for Rs.11,270-Cr

Canadian pension fund Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ) is in talks with Vodafone Plc to buy the residual 21% stake the UK telecom major owns in mobile tower installation company Indus Towers. Vodafone's 21% stake is valued at around INR 11,270 crore, based on the tower company's INR 53,669.67 crore market capitalisation. JP Morgan and Citi have been mandated to find potential suitors for the Vodafone stake.
