Centrum Group’s Modulus alternatives hires Sandeep Agarwal as CEO

Mumbai-based Modulus Alternatives , an alternative asset manager promoted by Centrum group, has appointed Sandeep Agarwal as its new chief executive officer (CEO). He had previously served as the head of the Mumbai b ranch for UBS AG.Modulus Alternatives is preparing to launch its third private credit fund, which has received approval from the Securities & Exchange Board of India for INR 1,200-1,500 crore. The firm plans to expand its operations by introducing a venture debt fund and a pre-IPO equity fund. Agarwal is expected to lead both the business and investment strategies for the firm.The former Chief Investment Officer at Modulus Alternatives, Rakshat Kapoor, left in June to join Motilal Oswal Alternates.
