Chatbot service Yellow.ai raises $78.15 M from WestBridge, Sapphire Ventures, others

Bengaluru- and San Francisco-based enterprise focused online conversational or “ChatBot†service Yellow.ai (formerly known as Yellow Messenger), has raised USD 78.15 million as part of its Series C round led by WestBridge Capital, Sapphire Ventures, and Salesforce Ventures. Existing investor Lightspeed Venture Partners also participated in the round. The firm plans to use the latest funding for growth and for global expansion, and for also hiring talent globally. The funding takes the total external capital raised by the startup to USD 102.15 million. Founded in 2016, the cloud-based enterprise solution provider allows businesses to automate outreach functions such as customer support, engagement and conversational commerce with the help of chatbots and voice-led bots.
