Chip design co. C2i Semiconductors raises $15-M led by Peak XV Partners

Bengaluru-based C2i Semiconductors has raised USD 15 million in a funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Yali Deeptech and TDK Ventures.Founded in June 2024 by Ram Anant, Vikram Gakhar, Preetam Tadeparthy, Dattatreya Suryanarayana, Harsha S B, and Muthusubramanian N V, C2i Semiconductors develops power management solutions for AI data centers and cloud infrastructure. The company's strategy involves system-level innovations to enhance power flow from the grid to processor cores.The new capital will support global expansion, including setting up a US office and building an applications and systems engineering team in Taiwan. C2i Semiconductors plans its first product tapeout in April, with a second in July.

In Oct-24, C2i Semiconductors had attracted about USD 4 M from Yali Capital and others.
