Chiratae launches Sonic DeepTech program; to invest up to $2-M per co.
Venture capital firm Chiratae Ventures has launched Sonic DeepTech, a fast-track funding program designed to support early-stage founders. This initiative will back startups from seed to Series A rounds, with individual investments reaching up to USD 2 million per company.The Sonic DeepTech program will focus on startups operating in frontier technology areas such as energy and climate, quantum technologies, robotics and advanced manufacturing, space technologies, applied AI and ML, defence, bio and medtech, and the digital economy. The program aims to streamline the evaluation and capital deployment process, targeting an investment decision within 48 hours.Founders accepted into the program will also gain access to Chiratae's network of domain experts, industry partners, and ecosystem players. This network support is intended to assist in transitioning products from lab-stage development to commercial deployment.Chiratae Ventures has invested over USD 200 million in more than 50 deep-tech startups to date and manages over USD 1.3 Billion in assets across various funds.
