Chiratae sells 1.25% in furniture rental platform Rentomojo for Rs.68-Cr
Chiratae Growth Fund I, owned by Chiratae Ventures, sold a 1.25% stake in Bengaluru-based Rentomojo .Chiratae sold 13.05 lakh shares for INR 67.93 crore. Following the sale, Helios Mutual Fund acquired a 0.83% stake in the firm for INR 44.44 crore, while S I Investments Broking and ABS Direct Equity Fund LLC also purchased shares in the company.Rentomojo operates as a rental and subscription platform for furniture, appliances, and home products.
Chiratae Ventures first invested in RentoMojo in Aug 2015. The company went public earlier in Sep 2026, as part of which, Chiratae Ventures had made a part exit. It had also sold shares previously in Aug 2015 and Jun 2016.For FY25, RentoMojo had reported about INR 266 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 43 Cr in PAT.
